Hi, and welcome to my November of '99 monthly update page. This page was updated December 9th, 1999 (I know I'm a bit late again, but hey at least I'm not as late as I was last month). Well November is done, Thanksgiving break is gone and its back to work for the second quarter of College. Things are already crazy again like last month, no time to do anything and every minute is taken up, but overall I'm doing very well, lovin every minute of it...except of course for when I do homework or calc or something... :o) The last week before Thanksgiving break was actually the best week in awhile. No work to do, didn't have many exams to take and I just had lots of fun. The best part was staying here till Saturday morning and everyone else had already left, all day friday just about not a person was around the dorms, and no RAs to yell at me no matter how loud I was. I cranked my music and threw a party in my room...or in the hall actually...you could hear the music throughout the whole building, it was really cool. Then break kinda sucked, went back home to Manistique and theres "absolut -ly" nothing to do there. All my old friends weren't back from college yet and I ended up just taking my sister Mia wherever she wanted to go, which was mostly for laps downtown to see who was around and that was pretty much NOBODY.
I was quite glad to come back up here after break even though things got crazy again when I got back. As soon as I got back I found out I was put on acedemic probation cuz my quarterly GPA was below 2.0 cuz I failed Calc. My cumulative is 2.8 or so, so it doesn't matter, but I just gotta pass Calc this time through. Then I found out that because I failed calc I got kicked out of 3 classes I had planned on taking this quarter and so I was at 9 credits when I should have had about 17. And 9 credits is a part-time student so I could have almost lost my scholarships. I had to quickly find anything for another class to take and get my credits up, but all the classes were full or didn't fit my schedule. I had to totally re-do my schedule 5 times, but I ended up adding a social science class, and then a few days later a PE class, social dancing. So I have 13 credits this term, very low, but its the best I can do, guess I'll be a bit behind. Social Dancing is quite the awesome class, I'm having a blast in it. Briar had originally signed up for it and when she showed up to class the teacher said they needed more guys in it so everyone could have a dance partner. I decided to join up after that and so now me and Briar are having quite a bit of fun in that class. Learned how to swing dance, and we get to learn all kinds of other cool dances like the tango and fox trot and stuff. Swing is the best! We threw a little dance party in our hall and taught everyone how to, tons of fun.
Well thats about everything for November, not long now till another short break for Christmas, and then the big New Years of the Millenium...will there be another update on my webpage? We'll just have to find out next month. Merry Christmas and happy new millenium to everyone, c-ya.
