Beege
and
his
Guitar
The thought occurred to me in April of 2000... "You know, I've never played a musical instrument all my life, and I've always wanted to. And I love music so much, how cool would it be to be able to play some of the songs I love?" The guitar is the perfect choice for that and I've always thought of maybe playing the guitar or the drums, and of course the guitar is a much more reasonable choice for a small dorm room and the ability to practice anytime anywhere, so I thought I would just try to teach myself and have fun learning and this is what I bought:
So I just up and bought a guitar out of the blue just like that and here I am just having fun messing around on it teaching myself how to play it. With the help of some online tutorials and guitar Tabulature files I'm having fun with the little time I can put into it.
And well as of right now I pretty much suck since I have no clue what I'm doing of course but hey I look pretty cool don't I?
Listen to Beege Crankin some Tunes
Well after spending some time practicing a few pieces I got good enough to record myself to my satisfaction to share. Click on any of the links below to listen to the samples I recorded, but keep in mind I've spent very little time on this and well I suck. :o) All of the pieces are just little bits of intros to songs, small finger picking pieces since I can't do anything else yet, I need to spend some more time on chords and stuff. I'll be putting up some new stuff whenever I record something new... could be quite awhile though because I don't have any time to play anymore.
