Hi, my name is B.J. Tomiko, well actually its William Joseph Tomiko,
but everyone calls me B.J. I'm 21 years old, 5'9", and 140lbs.
I'm currently a Senior at Michigan Technological University, going
for a BS in CS (Computer Science). I've been programming since I was 12,
and I love it, so I suppose I chose the right field to go into. I just
started my third year of college, and I'd have to say its great,
I love the college life, nothing better, infact I decided to stretch my college
stay out to 5 years whether I have to or not. In my free time
I like to rollerblade, ice skate, listen to music, watch movies, hang
with friends, mess around trying to learn to play the guitar, play video games (I'm always N64 champ of my hall), I love to
e-mail and chat lots (I pretty much live online, check me on ICQ sometime
ICQ#10751573), and of course since I go to Tech, I love to party and drink occasionally. Lets see,
what else can I say about myself... Well I'm a very caring loving honest and
trust-worthy person, if you need someone to talk to, I'm there for ya, if you
ever need a hug or a shoulder to cry on just let me know. I'm also totally open to anything and everything, you can ask me any questions
or to do anything and I'll more than likely answer it or do it. Everyone is always telling me how much of a nice guy I am, and I can't help it, its just who I am... even if it means I'm left lonely, searching for a girlfriend only to find girls want me more as a best friend cuz I'm just too nice. (Update: As of 9/19/00 I've been finally lucky and no longer left lonely. I broke my year and a half streak of not being able to get a date and went out with Becky for almost 2 months but then that didn't work out... and somehow I got lucky again right away and am now going out with Taryn. :o) Whats up with this?! Two girls that like me as more than friends... somethings very wrong here... ;o) but I'm not complaining.)
Well on to other topics... I love new electronics and technology so my entertainment system is always interesting, and so of course I love movies and music, and very loud. :o) I have tons of favorite movies, I own like 75 DVDs, but I love Star Wars more than anything.
The Trilogy was my favorite always, and now The Phantom Menace is my favorite,
gotta love Star Wars! I love music in general, doesn't matter what kind, if it sounds good or I can sing it I like it (I love singing way too much). My favorites are any and all kinds
of Rock from Classic Rock to Heavy Metal to soft Rock, and I like some Rap, Country, Christian, and Classical.
I have too many favorite groups to mention, and too many favorite songs also. But
if I have to name a few groups/artists I'd say, Barenaked Ladies, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Fleetwood Mac, Collective Soul, Blessed Union of Souls, Aerosmith, Journey, Def Leppard, Metallica, Garth Brooks, Alabama, Dave Matthews Band, Goo Goo Dolls, Everclear, Van Halen, Will Smith, Yes, Police,
Savage Garden, Live, Matchbox 20, Bon Jovi, Vertical Horizon, Kid Rock, Eminem, Creed, and the Offspring. My current music preferrence is always shifting around slightly, lately I've been more partial to Metallica and Offspring, but also Def Leppard, Styx, and REO Speedwagon cuz I've recently went to their concerts and those are the only concerts I've ever been to, so they rock! I'm a music freak, just love it all, you might be able
to tell from my mp3 collection, I'm better than my own radio station, ask me about it sometime if you're interested, I have over 5,000 songs just on my computer.
In case you're wondering why I also use Beege as my name, it's what most of my friends call me,
its a shorter form of BJ (just say it like beej, its one less sylable, even
though it's longer when written), I don't know why they need to
shorten the already short name of BJ, but I've come to know it as my
name. Now whenever I'm on the net, I use Beege (or Beege_man) as my
name so I don't use my own name. That's pretty much all there is to
